Groove Elation Records Announces Early Partners

Franklin Shaw of Assorted Sound Productions joined Groove Elation Records in 2024 as the primary mixing engineer. His contributions have significantly enhanced the clarity and spatial definition of instrumentation in the new singles. He has also stood out by creating notable improvements in audio quality, remixing several historical tracks to bring out the hidden magic in the songs. Groove Elation Records anticipates a continued and productive collaboration.

Rainer Gembalzyck of SiennaDigital.com serves as the preferred mastering engineer, having been recommended by Musical Director, Derrick Harvin. Mr. Gembalzyck has successfully mastered several new singles and remixes. His expertise is particularly evident in his ability to remaster digital projects for analog formats, such as the vinyl re-release of Erly Thornton's "In Transit" and "My Life," which demonstrated superior audio quality compared to their original CD versions.

Inge Wenzel of SmoothJazz.eu has maintained a long-standing professional relationship with Erly Thornton and Groove Elation Records. Since the late 2000s, Ms. Wenzel has been instrumental in promoting Erly Thornton's music across Europe. Their collaboration has included a successful concert at Poppodium Metropool in Hengelo, Netherlands, as part of her Jazz Rock Cafe event, and she facilitated Erly Thornton's tour with American Guitarist Chieli Minucci. Groove Elation Records plans to extend this collaboration to organize performances for its new label artists.
